Picture the moment: You've been asked to speak *again*, because your last presentation was a huge success! Imagine what it feels like when you've conquered the fear of getting on stage, and now have the confidence to share your knowledge with a crowd of people! Becoming a great presenter requires not only the courage to start (and to continue), but also building the skills and confidence to deliver your message effectively. This interactive workshop includes training on mastering your presentation skills, developing and refining the content of your message, and how to give and receive evaluations/criticism/feedback, resulting in confidence.
Together we will learn not only the 4 keys to giving a great presentation, but also how to get clear with your message by giving and receiving feedback. And if you're courageous enough to come prepared to give a short talk*, we'll give you real-time constructive feedback as a learning exercise for both you and the audience. *(The short talk could be something from 5-10 minutes, on any subject, could be technical, maybe including live-coding, or even non-technical. We may shorten longer presentations to give everyone an opportunity.)
After actively participating in this workshop, right away you will be able to communicate more clearly, be more effective giving feedback to your peers or colleagues, and even your employees. And of course give presentations with confidence! Plus, this would be a great opportunity for participants to hone their skills if they're presenting at Laracon the next day! Come and be inspired as we learn and grow together.
More will be announced. Keep up-to-date.
Full-day workshops take place on 28th Aug. and require a separate ticket.
